Sailor Moon Covers Project: Minako, Sailor Venus

This one was partially decided on by my youngest sister, who thought I should close out the "Senshi Accidentally Destroying Rin's Computer" thing with the Rule of Three. I'd also considered putting myself in a Sailor V costume and drawing her reaction, but I figured it'd be a weird face, so I might do that as an alternate version later. The computer shown here isn't the charred version of my beautiful old red laptop that died last summer, but my current one, which, though technically superior, isn't red. It's still a pretty nice color, though. And it streams faster and can hold more media, so I'm not complaining.

Before I started watching Sailor Moon and identifying more with Ami, Minako was my favorite senshi. When I saw the end credits as a little kid (I was never awake in time to watch the full episode) I thought she and Sailor Moon looked like me. But Minako more so because her hair was down and she had a red bow. I never had a red bow, but red is my favorite color.... Also, the fact that we have the same birthday.

Part of me still has my fingers crossed for Sailor V to get an anime. At the same time, I'm trying to accept that like the Sakura Hime anime I want to come out, it's probably not going to happen unless someone does a fanmade version.

Drawing this, I've realized that, barring Sailor Moon's Eternal form, Sailor Venus has the widest variety of color in her Sailor form, with her red ribbon, orange skirt and collar, yellow back bow and choker, and blue bow. And...I forgot her chain. Well, darn. I was hoping I wouldn't screw up until I got to Chibiusa or Michiru (they're a little more difficult for me). I guess I'll have to fix that and re-scan it sometime.

Next to Makoto, Minako seems to have had the highest number of musical actresses. Barring the opening credits, she hasn't appeared in Sailor Moon Crystal yet, but out of the manga, Sailor V, the first anime, PGSM, and her many musical portrayals, which would you say is your favorite?
